The Loneliness Epidemic has become a public health crisis. Our communities need caring and courageous people to take the initiative to create safe and inviting environments for people to be seen, heard, and valued.
We have a bold goal; we are on a mission to create this kind of space (a location) as a Hub for Community. “The Porch” coffee house will be a safe haven to cultivate meaningful relationships, gain crucial resources, and learn important life skills together. A space for meetings, workshops, for mentoring, and the collective generations learning from one another. This space will serve the greater Carson City and Carson Valley communities in Nevada.
